Help your students activate their futures with our Self-Awareness and Career Readiness Course. Students learn about themselves, discover the careers and majors they’d love, and map their path to a better future!

If you are looking for something easy to implement, takes very little educator time, and is more meaningful than “checking boxes” for your state mandated college and career readiness requirements, our online course is your solution! Web video based, self-paced, and personalized for each student using their Indigo Assessment data, this course fits into any school schedule. Each student’s finished career plans (MAPs) are web based and available via Sherlock for easy access by teachers and counselors.

Self-Awareness and Career Readiness

The same Indigo Assessment that provides the data for Sherlock is the basis for Indigo’s online self-awareness and career readiness course, IndigoActivate. The course provides step-by-step guidance to help students map out a path to college, careers, and a fulfilling future.  By completing the course, each student creates a post secondary plan and related resources to enact that plan. 
Through a video-based interactive course, students learn about themselves via the Indigo report, discover careers and majors they’d love, and map their path to a better future!  The MAP students create is viewed in the Indigo Sherlock Dashboard by teachers and counselors and can be updated at any time to fulfill state required college and career planning mandates. The course can be completed online, or teacher guides are available so the course can be delivered in a blended learning fashion where the course learnings are deepened through group activities.
Self-awareness is fundamental to success. Students need to understand their own strengths and interests to make the right choices for education and careers after high school.
